Custom Project With Victoria's Diamond Vault
Custom jewelry is usually in three parts:
- We source the diamond
- We confirm design
- We get it all put together
1. Sourcing the diamond is such an exciting part of the process! Once you fill out the form and share all of the details of your dream piece, I like to share a list of diamonds personally selected for you and your project via email with stone shape, size, dimensions, ratio, certification, and 360 video so you can visualize it. If you’re in Arizona, we can meet with my diamond chooser and I can place it on your hand to get an idea of ratios and size on your finger.
Price for the diamond I source must be paid 100% upfront.
Already have a diamond? Let’s jump to step 2.
Diamond refund policy here.
2. In the meantime, we can get started on the design! The more inspiration photos and videos shared by you, the better and more accurate your quote will be. Need help with inspiration? Just ask. I have lots pinned to my Instagram highlights to look at. My blog: The Vault has examples of previous work. Lastly, if you give me an idea of what you are looking for, I can pull inspiration to share as well. Once we're set on a design, I will get a free quote from my trusted manufacturer. Quotes are always subject to change pending design changes.
There are three choices to begin the initial design process:
- $50 CAD (computer aided design) fee, this is non refundable for the designer’s time, but if we move forward, it will be credited towards your final jewelry piece.
- Payment of 50% upfront and 50% when complete.
-Payment 100% upfront.
The choice is yours.
Timeline expectations: up to one week for the initial CAD, updates take 2-3 business days. 10-15 business days for production time. 4-5 business days to ship to me.
Since custom jewelry is made to order, there is no refund for a custom piece. If you are truly unhappy, we can discuss options. Policies can be found here.
3. Once we have the diamond and the mounting in hand, I will take it to a trusted local goldsmith to get it all out together. Prices for setting a diamond start at $100 and can increase depending on the complexity of the design and shape and size of the diamond/gemstone. The local goldsmith can take up to two weeks to set the diamond.
For very complex designs, I will recommend other options.
When it’s all complete, I will share lots of pre shipment photos and videos; we can even FaceTime to see your finished piece. Then, the final jewelry piece will be on her way to you the very next day via UPS 2nd Day Air (domestic) or USPS Priority International (international - up to two weeks shipping time). If you need it quicker, we can discuss getting different shipping quotes and timelines.
Thank you for reaching out, I cannot wait to collaborate on your dream piece of jewelry!
